Ok so, I think I have done my fair share of volunteer work for this year! Between JWA and Kiwanis I have been SO busy I cannot think straight! I have been in charge of planning our biggest fundraiser of the year in Kiwanis which is our annual Christmas Auction. THANK GOD it's this Friday! Steven no longer has a man cave, nor have we had a guest bedroom for weeks because I have been storing the 33 Live auction items in one room, and the 60 silent auction items in the other. I am so ready for Friday to be here to see how much my hard work has paid off! I'm hoping we have a record year because we have never broken 100 attendees and we have sold 130 tickets this year! WOW!
Anyway, after I get through this Friday I get to see my most favorite little baby in the world on Saturday, AFTER ECU wins their game of course. Anyway short but sweet, I hope everyone has a great week/weekend and hopefully the Lord will bless all of the people coming to the auction on Friday on the bidding so we can raise some money to give away to the children in our community!

Kingston and Knee
This past weekend was so much fun! Steven and I cooked dinner and had my parents and Kingston over. Then, Mama and Steven's granddad came over and watched the ECU game with us later that night. Mama brought Kingston an ECU jersey so that he could root on the Pirates with us, I must say she got a perfect fit for him and he loved it so much he cried when we tried to take it off of him to eat dinner!!!

Kingston is talking so much and getting such a personality, he's starting to pretend stuff, like playing cars, etc. He has now started looking at me and saying Hold me LALA hold me...and what do I do, hold him! :) How cute is this picture of Kingston and our mom? I think this will definitely be a framer haha.

And here is Kingston looking oh so handsome before Homecoming at our church!

And lastly, if everyone could please pray for me because I have been having problems with my knee and I hope that I do not have to have a 3rd surgery. If they do surgery again, they will completely take out my cartilage, which isnt good...just say some prayers I go to the Doctor on the 20th :)

A very blessed life!
What can I say, Steven and I have been married 2 years now! Wow! I cannot even believe that, it seems like just yesterday we were at our rehearsal dinner, and then 2 years tomorrow walking down the aisle! It was a sad day for me because I am daddy's little girl, but the happiest day of my life to be marrying Steven! I could not be happier where my life has turned out, he is my best friend and my husband whom I love with all my heart! My wedding day was something I will always remember and I hope that every year on our anniversary we can watch our video and just relive the day! So, I can't wait until tomorrow night to celebrate with my husband and to replay our wedding day. I have such a blessed life, great parents, great friends, and a husband who loves me with all his heart! Here are few pics from that very special day on October 4, 2008!

Birthday trip and Vacation week!
It has been a while since my last blog, but I won't bore you with all the details of our summer I will just start by telling you about our vacation week! Last week Steven and I took the whole week off from work to celebrate our birthdays which mine is on the 3rd and Steven's on the 12th. We decided to go ahead and do a little trip together now since he will be starting back to school next week :( and that means bye bye husband. We started the week off with spending last weekend with our besties Brad and Cooper! They had a wedding to go to, but we still got to spend a lot of time together and had a great time! Our visits with them are never often nor long enough for me :(.

Then, Steven and I headed to Charleston for a few days and it was great! Steven has been once before, but I have never. We did a lot of walking around, eating great food, drinking good beer and wine and of course just enjoyed each other!!

We definitely drove home from Charleston through Myrtle Beach, saw Pawley's Island, and ate lunch at Barefoot Landing in MB, then had to see my sissy and Little Man, so we spent a few hours in Wilmington Wednesday afternoon before heading home. Every time we visit Kingston in Wilmington, we have to take him to ride the carousel because this is his and granddad's routine and we all have to keep normalcy, or else granddad is the only one spoiling him!!! haha

We then headed down to Nags Head on Thursday for a day trip and shopped in the outlets and ate at Awful Arthur's, Steven loves that restaurant. We rode the ferry and just had a very short, but great day!

As if all of this traveling wasn't enough, we drove down to Atlantic Beach Friday and Saturday to stay with our friends/neighbors Drew and Kristen Moss. Drew's mom rented a very nice oceanfront condo and invited us to stay which was so nice of her! We hung out on the beach all day Friday and Saturday, then went to dinner at Beaufort Grocery Saturday night which was the BEST food ever. It was a great weekend and we are so glad Ms. Anne invited us to go!!! Check out the color coordinating outfits haha...

It was a great week with great Family and Friends, and of course each other :)

My Summer so far
Steven and I have been trying to spend a lot of time at the river together and we have recently started hanging out with our very awesome neighbors and have been having a blast with them. This past 4th of July weekend we cooked out at Sara and John's Friday night, then cooked out at Kristen and Drew's Saturday night, then rode down to the river with Kristen, Drew, and Brian and Shayna. We had a great time on Sunday, riding on the boat, floating in the river, and watching the fireworks. Here are a few pics from our 4th of July at the river with some great new friends.

Also, this past weekend I went to Kinston on Saturday and spent the day with Natalie and her precious new baby Holden. Natalie and I have been best friends since 8th grade, so seeing her become a mom has been very awesome for me. Here is a picture of Holden, he is too cute!
